Henry VIII/#5/Quotes and Answers

Quote: “Things done well, and with a care, exempt themselves from fear.”

Answer: Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 103-105.  King to Wolsey.  The public is very upset with this new set of taxes, and Henry VIII is concerned. He asks Wolsey if he “has a precedent for this commission?” Wolsey says “I believe, not any.” The king offers this quote. Wolsey knows he must find a diplomatic way to rescind the new tax plan.
